Annabel de Vere is a producer, editor, and creative director with ten years of experience shaping compelling narratives across fashion, music, arts, and culture. With a career spanning Australia and Europe, she has built a dynamic portfolio in publishing, creative production, and event conceptualisation.
Annabel began her career as Digital Editor at A Magazine Curated By in Paris, where she helped shape the publication's distinctive voice. She went on to work with i-D Magazine and Vice News, crafting editorial and branded content that bridged fashion and culture. As the founding Editor of to Be Magazine, she created a bold visual identity, becoming one of the leading voices for experimental arts and culture in Australia.
She later joined Purple Magazine as Producer, where she led high-profile editorial projects, international campaigns, and luxury brand stories for CELINE, Comme des Garçons, Vivienne Westwood, Gucci, and many more. She has worked with notable musicians and actors on editorial projects, including Björk, Charli XCX, Chloë Sevigny, and others. From budget management and location scouting to client relations and art direction, Annabel merges creativity with precision, ensuring each project is both visionary and meticulously executed.
In April 2025, Annabel co-founded Phenomena Productions, a full-service creative production company specialising in photo, video, and sound. Bringing together a collective of directors, producers, and artists across Australia, Europe and the U.K., Phenomena is dedicated to bold, high-impact storytelling that moves, challenges, and inspires. The company's work spans fashion films, music videos, campaigns, and art installations, blending cultural insight with innovative strategy to deliver projects that are as precise as they are visionary.
Her work, and that of Phenomena Productions, is defined by a thoughtful approach to storytelling, leveraging a global network of creatives to produce work that resonates across print, digital, and live platforms.
